The Treasurer’s report showed $12,014.31 in the following accounts: Business checking $5,014.31 and 9 month CD $7,000. Some of the highlights <i>(or lowlights)</i> are... A bill has been introduced by Senator Jim Whelan to reduce the number of hotel rooms required for a casino license from 500 to 200. The Trump Entertainment bondholders backed by Donald Trump won their fight in bankruptcy court against Carl Ichan for control of the company, however, Ichan is appealing. Morgan Stanley has reported a $952 million loss and is looking to sell the Revel. In the meantime, construction has stopped at the Revel site until financing can be found. Allan McCurdy, Treasurer, reported there was $4808.06 in the club checking account and approximately $7000 in a 9 month CD that was maturing. $196 was taken in by the club with $145 from the 50/50 and $51 from the auction. President Jerry Birl announced that he will not run for reelection when his term expires in 2011.
